ZNC Obtains $1.35 Million Settlement in Casualty Insurance Suit

Doug Varga recently concluded a settlement in a Superior Court action in which the firm represented the owner of an apartment building that sustained significant damage as a result of a fire. The suit essentially involved a dispute between our client and its insurance carrier as to whether the building was a total loss or whether it could be salvaged and repaired. We also asserted that the carrier engaged in unfair insurance settlement practices in denying full payment on the claim. Our client received a $1.35 million settlement.
