Ms. Poston concentrates her practice in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on employment law and civil rights.  She has litigated many cases in both federal and state courts and in administrative agencies, including the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.  She has handled matters arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the federal Fair Housing Act, the Connecticut Fair Employment Practices Act, Connecticut housing discrimination statutes, the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act, and the Connecticut Uniform Trade Secrets Act. 

Ms. Poston joined Zeldes, Needle & Cooper after completing federal clerkships in Michigan and Connecticut, and after three years of litigation practice in Cincinnati, Oh.  She became Counsel to the firm in 2007.  She has lectured on employment-related topics and formerly served as co-chair of the Court Liaison Committee for the Young Lawyers Section of the Connecticut Bar Association.
