Doug Varga concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation and labor and employment litigation.  His work involves proceedings before federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and industry regulatory bodies.  Mr. Varga has handled cases covering a broad range of litigation matters, including trade secret misappropriation, violation of non-competition and confidentiality agreements, employment discrimination, and claims arising under the ADA, ADEA, Title VII, ERISA, and other federal and state laws.  Mr. Varga also has litigated suits involving claims of professional negligence, fraud, unfair trade practices, securities fraud, and RICO violations.  He has counseled employers on anti-discrimination policies, protection of confidential business information, severance agreements, and progressive discipline of employees. 

Before joining the firm in January of 1999, Mr. Varga practiced in Chicago and New York, devoting the major portion of his time to insurance industry issues, including work on suits involving life and health insurance and managed care disputes, as well as complex ERISA pension and welfare benefit matters.
